Gustav Klimt - inspiration...

I have always been inlove with Klimts work, and how could you not be? The pure richness of it with the heavy gold embelishment... It is deeply romantic and emotional... he combines the imagined with the real and it is this combination that appeals to the senses...

Kat Mcleod - inspiration...

I am a huge fan of Kat Mcleod! Being a fellow Australian artist it is hard not to love her fashionista drawing that combine watercolours with fabric, thread and more. One day I hope to own one of these fine peices, it is a dream of mine...

Bunbury Cathedral Grammar School Fete

This lovely work was a donation to the Grammar School for their fete. Eight local artists were asked to complete a chair to be auctioned at the event. The theme was a tricky one to work towards - country & western. I chose the succulent aspect of this and create a mixed media work that involved a lot of hand-stitching and the inclusion of vintage buttons. Hopefully this chair now has a better life sitting pool-side...

Welcome!

Welcome to charlotteOTRANTO...

Please do give me a little time to get things up and running but I can promise that you will soon be emersed in my art.

See you soon... xx
